As Heat Transferer X you will be the chair of the committee for the Association of Process Engineering Students’ tenth annual ball, Lämmönsiirto X, as well as the committee for the tenth year of celebration. We wish for the Heat Transferer to have previous experience on arranging events for a large amount of people, whether it be from sitsi events, annual balls or even weddings. The Heat Transferer is especially expected to have organization and delegation skills as well as a good group leadership and communication. It is also expected of the Heat Transferer to be excited and motivated about organizing the ball and of course have good ideas for the event! This task will last about 1.5 years, so please take this into consideration already when applying!
If you are chosen for the position, your first task will be to open the application for the committee for Lämmönsiirto X using the association’s email list. When you have received applications, we wish for you to interview the applicants for the tasks. When the Heat Transferer has assembled their committee, they will present their suggestion to the board and the board will decide whether they accept it. The suggestion of the committee members must be presented to the board by 14.3.2021. Within your committee you will organize all the arrangements for the annual ball and it is recommended that the committee has people who have experience in e.g. event organization, finances, corporate relations and acquiring sponsors.
During the Association of Process Engineering Students’ tenth year of celebration, it is planned to publish the Association of Process Engineering Students’ own songbook, for which we are seeking a Songbook Responsible and songbook committee. As the Association of Process Engineering Students’ Songbook Responsible you will assemble your own committee of people, with whom you will begin planning and gathering material for the songbook. It is also expected of the Songbook Responsible to have organization and delegation skills that are needed in leading a big project. We hope that the songbook responsible has knowledge on songs that are sung at the Association of Process Engineering Students’ events as well as the traditions that go with them. A wide knowledge on teekkari culture and experience as a song leader are seen as an advantage. Layout skills are also greatly useful. As the Songbook Responsible you along with your committee are completely responsible for the appearance, layout and budget of the songbook. This task will last about 1.5 years, so please take this into consideration already when applying!
If you are chosen for this position, your first task is to open the application for the songbook committee using the association’s email list. When the Songbook Responsible has assembled their committee, they will present their suggestion to the board and the board will decide whether they accept it. The suggestion of the committee members must be presented to the board by 14.3.2021. The main task of the committee is to decide which songs go into the book and plan the overall appearance of the book.
You can apply for both positions by sending an application to the board of the Association of Process Engineering Students (hallitus@prosessiteekkarit.fi). Please send your application both in English and Finnish if possible. You can attach a picture of yourself if you want.
