Our dear guild sister, Oulun Prosessikilta, has invited us to join their bar crawl, Mallasappro, on Thursday the 17th of October. They say that the Mallasappro is the heaviest bar crawl in Finland and definitely the biggest bar crawl in Oulu, and you have the chance to participate with the price of 7 €.

You have the chance to reserve a ticket for yourselves until 17th of September without the sign up being binding. This way we want to map the amount of interested. After 17th of September an email is send to everyone who’s signed up and by answering you can still cancel your ticket. If you don’t answer to the email by 22th of September, your ticket will stay reserved to you and the sign up becomes binding.

In addition, your interest in shared transportation to Oulu is gathered, so answer also if you’re interested in a bus ride either to Oulu or both ways. Nothing about the shared transformation can be promised, but it is also discussed with other guilds from Otaniemi and Tampere. The fastest way to Oulu is by flying, but the best way to hold a pre party is definitely by bus.

24.  Welcome to Fyysikkospeksi 2019: Our hopes and expectations!

Fyysikkospeksi 2019 takes the viewer on a tour of recent history, to a small rustic town in the Finnish countryside, next to the middle of nowhere. The calm meandering passage of time seems endless until it doesnt; levees protecting a harbored grudge break and long bottled resentment flows freely. An inexplicable source of darkness floats over the amber waves of grain. Ultimately, one question remains: which is thicker, blood or the murky muddy waters of the wetland?

Please note that the show is performed in Finnish, but don't worry. We have have one show coming up also in English on 19th of November at Dipoli. Please switch over to the Facebook event of the English show here:

25. Secretary's regards

I have spent today and yesterday with 12 hr /day working on fyysikkospeksi! Because of tight schedules, this week’s finnish newsletter and English newsletter came with a little time difference. But moving on to other things, it’s annual ball week! For me the week is quite easy, I’ll only attend to the annual ball itself and sillis. Tho, we will go to manicure with the board before the annual ball :D

This week’s culture act: Raining men – The Weather Girls cos you know, why not :D?

Boards news: On today’s meeting, we had a quest; Anni Rintala who is the manager of academic affairs. She told us about her work and we discussed about our university contract. After that, we mostly talked about the annual ball and annual ball week.
