          The board decided on 8.2. that PT will follow the guidelines of the Regional State Administrative Agency about corona. For now, the association will not organize events that require gathering. This decision will be reviewed if needed.<\/p>\n

          <\/a>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PT Info Channel on Telegram<\/h2>\n

          PT now has a separate Telegram channel for official announcements and news about the association – PT Info Channel! All the most important announcements and news about the association will be posted in the channel from now on, for example about events and the summary of the weekly newsletter sent by email. The switch over to the Info Channel will happen gradually so that the most important info will also be posted in the #PT-chat until the end of January 2021<\/strong>. The #PT-chat will remain as a chat for discussions between PT members.<\/p>\n

          Welcome to the PTR Tournament on Thursday 11 February! There will be unprecedented challenges that will test your accuracy, skills and a bit of luck. This year the event will be held remotely, so charge your batteries, plug in your headphones and show your skills in traditional and brand new games. At the end only one team can be the most awesome!<\/p>\n

          You can register for the event alone or with a friend of your choice, at the end participants will be divided in small groups. The final group divisions and the list of needed supplies will be announced to the participants before the start of the event. Everyone from fuksis to N are welcome to join!<\/p>\n

          Once again it is time for PT’s ISO recruiting for the year 2021-2022! You can apply to be an ISO, CHEMengISO, International tutor or all three! Note: You can only be selected for one of the three roles. Once the application is closed it is time for ISO interviews and the interviews will be held by the ISOresponsible ’21 (ISO and CHEMengISO) and the head of international and master’ affairs (international tutor). This is a very important and unique role and applying is highly recommended! Application period starts 1.2. at 12.00 and closes 14.2. at 21.00.

          <\/a>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 PT\u2019s blood donating group<\/h2>\n

          PT\u2019s Well-being Responsibles challenge everyone to donate blood for the common good and to participate in the Blood Group of PT!<\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          In Finland, 800 blood donors are needed every weekday so that patients receive the blood products they need. Blood products are needed, for example, to treat surgical patients, accident victims, cancer patients and premature babies. By donating blood, you can save another person’s life. Welcome to be a lifesaver!<\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          The association has its own blood donation group \u201cProsessiteekkarit ry\u201d, which can be mentioned after the donation. In recent years, PT has earned a Gold Certificate (30 donations), so in 2021 the bar will be set at the highest Platinum level of 50 donations.<\/p>\n

          In addition, all donors will receive an overalls patch! And fuksi point for every fuksi!<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Blood can be donated by appointment for example in Iso Omena, Espoo, Sanomatalo in Helsinki and Kivihaa, Lahti, Tampere, Turku, Kuopio, Sein\u00e4joki, Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 and Oulu, as well as at blood donation events held across Finland.           Helsinki Blood Service has a blood donation event in Otaniemi on Thu 11.2. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The health survey can be completed in advance and current blood donation instructions are available at https:\/\/www.bloodservice.fi\/<\/a><\/p>\n

          Winter is at its best and it\u2019s time to enjoy it! Before the exam week it is good to enjoy yourself for a little, so Winter Frolic<\/strong> is arriving in February<\/strong>! The event is open to all PT\u2019s members, and runs from Monday 15th to Sunday 21st<\/strong>. The challenges will be revealed on Sunday the 14th, and you will receive points for documenting their completion. You can complete the challenges by yourself or with a friend, and remember the current guidelines from the Finnish institute for Health and Welfare.<\/p>\n

           <\/p>\n

          Document your achievements by photo or video, and send them to @prosessiteekkarit on Telegram! After completing three challenges you can buy yourself an AMAZING WinterOnnea<\/strong> -patch! Additionally, the fastest person to complete all the challenges will get a huge surprise prize! If you wish, you can also send the photos or videos to the #PT -channel for us all to enjoy.<\/p>\n

          It has been snowing a lot lately and the ground is screaming for people to make snow sculptures. Enthusiastic about this, editors of ProTeesi have decided to announce a snow sculpture competition! So make an optional snow sculpture, take a picture of it and send it with a small story (max 50 words) in telegram to @Torpedoboi<\/a> 19.2. by 11:59 p.m. Best snow sculptures will be published in the first ProTeesi of the year. An authoritative jury will also decide who will win the competition and the winner will be announced in ProTeesi. By participating, fuksis can get themselves an article point!<\/p>\n
