        The Prosessiteekkarit board made the decision to continue the decision made in October related to events. The updated decision was made at the board meeting held on 26.10. and it can be read below:<\/p>\n

        Prosessiteekkarit will not organise events for over 50 people inside. Events for over 50 people can be organised outside, if people that attend are divided into less than 50 people groups that will not interact during the event. The events organised are held in a way where the risk of transmission is minimised. For example, sitsit will not be organised. These decisions are valid until the end of the year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        Does sewing new patches into overalls feel tedious? Are your fingers in screws right at the beginning and the thread isn’t going to be found in the eye of the needle? No worries, help is near!<\/p>\n

        We want to make it easier for everyone to progress in patch sewing by organizing PT\u2019s own overalls sewing evenings. In the evenings you can come to sew patches into your overalls, hear tips and just spend time with good company. There is also a possibility to buy some patches, if you want.<\/p>\n

        If you don\u2019t feel like sewing overalls, there are also board games and other games to play during the evening!<\/p>\n

        We will arrange 2 sewing evenings in the OK20 upstairs and each sewing evening can accommodate 28 participants. With limited facilities and number of participants, please attend only one evening that suits you. The event dates are Tuesday November 17 and Thursday November 19. See that the dates have changed a bit!<\/p>\n

        Now is your chance to inform the association of members, who have been excellent in their respective official positions during the year. The board of the association will choose the most successful officials from the suggestions and they will be presented with an award in the association’s Pre-Christmas party on the 25th of November. You may also suggest members, who have generally been a positive influence in the PT community, and have created a positive atmosphere within the association during the past year.<\/p>\n

        The year is starting to be in the package, so it\u2019s time to celebrate! This year, PT\u2019s Pre-chrisTmas ParTy can be watched from home couches from the stream. The evening’s program includes a performance by a newly formed song group, awards for deserving officials, greetings from Korvatunturi and the premiere of CanCan\u201920.<\/p>\n

        Stream is open to everyone, but if you wish, you can buy a Christmas delicacy package for 7 \u20ac. The delicacy package includes ham \/ seitan, carrot casserole, small side dishes and gingerbread. You will receive payment information to the email address you provided during registration. Registration for the treat package takes place at http:\/\/www.prosessiteekkarit.fi\/ilmo\/event\/66<\/a>. Registration is open now and ends on 22.11. at 23:55. Pick-up of the delicacy package is performed in front of the sm\u00f6kki kitchen between 25.11. 17:00 and 18:30. We will send detailed instructions for all who ordered the delicacy package. Delicacy package is only for members of the Association of Process Engineering students.<\/p>\n

        The stream will be shared to Facebook event and the #PT telegram group. During the evening, you can also gather up to a virtual processroom in discord to follow the stream. At the end of the program, you can stay on the discord to chat and play games. The main language of the event is Finnish.<\/p>\n

        Have you always wanted to know how to play the most traditional teekkari sport? Are you an old pike or searching Christmas trees all year long? Did you use kona as a lego block as a child?<\/p>\n

        PT Kyykk\u00e4 will be organized on Tuesday 1.12. when we get acquainted with this traditional sport at Otaniemi Miinumaa kyykk\u00e4 field!<\/p>\n

        In teekkari culture kyykk\u00e4 is a winter sport and a remote relative to Finnish m\u00f6lkky \u2013 teams of four try to empty opponents square of wooden kyykk\u00e4 blocks. The rules are not available in English, but you can have a sneak peek to the sport by watching the youtube video: https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=edDu38fFpB8<\/a>.<\/p>\n

        The Association of Process Engineering Students is looking for new volunteers for official positions for the upcoming year. You can read more about the official positions at: http:\/\/www.prosessiteekkarit.fi\/en\/tasks\/<\/a>
        \nThis year, the official applications are divided into the positions suitable for everyone and the positions that require previous experience relating to the task.         Being an official is an excellent addition to your studies, and they are not too demanding in terms of load. In official positions you get a chance to get to know how the association works up close and help in organizing and developing the association’s activities.<\/p>\n

        The association’s board hosted an information session on the official positions last week, where the tasks were introduced. You can watch the recording and slides <\/strong>here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        When you are registering, choose the positions that you want to apply to. You can apply for as many positions as you want, but you may not be chosen for all of them. We also ask you to write in brief why you are applying for the positions you are applying for. The association’s upcoming board will decide who to choose for the official positions during December. The upcoming board’s members may send you additional questions relating to the position. The application period ends on the 2nd of December 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Student representatives in administration are Aalto students who participate in the decision-making and development of the university. Student representatives have the opportunity to influence, for example, the teaching of degree programmes, quality of teaching, students\u2019 well-being and equality. Students know best what students are thinking.<\/p>\n

        Have you ever wondered about how the history of Aalto University, its predecessor the Helsinki University of Technology and their student life has left its mark on Otaniemi and the Helsinki city center through the years? The student culture, and the Teekkari culture in particular, have many old and cherished traditions and they are present in multiple fascinating places, monuments and stories around Otaniemi and Helsinki. So, gather your friends and join us for an adventure through the magical history of the Teekkari. This is the Stadiventures!<\/p>\n

        In the event participants go through checkpoints in Otaniemi and Helsinki. The instructions for activities on checkpoints are given on Telegram, which means there won\u2019t be any physical contact with organizers. When the team has performed the checkpoint activity, they will send their documentation of the performance via Telegram. The Telegram contact person will be your guide through the checkpoint crawl. For each checkpoint the group gets one point. By getting enough points the team will claim the right to buy the event\u2019s official overall badge.         On Thursday we had a checkpoint with the board at CHEM-Approt, which was organised for the first time ever and was a very fun event! My weekend went by fast while I just read for my exam, except once in a while it was good to have a break from studying by writing for ProTeesi.<\/p>\n
