There will be room for 40 and all those who return a song will be given the right to buy the sitsi ticket before other participants.           <\/a>11.\u00a0\u00a0 PT x IK x VK Board game and EMC infonight 19.1.<\/h2>\n

          Do you dream of international cooperation or working for a more sustainable future? Did you know that renewable energy sources and electric vehicles require an enormous amount of metals? The amount of currently available metals is not enough for this, no matter how much we recycle. Mining is still crucial for sustainable development.<\/p>\n

          PT, VK and IK are arranging a board game night, where we play board games and also introduce the European Mining Course (EMC) Master’s programme to you. The event will be held January 19 at Otaranta Clubroom from 17:00 onwards. EMC is an international Triple-Degree Master’s programme including three different universities. In the degree, you’ll study for example modern mine design, determining life cycles of minerals and improving work safety in mining conditions.<\/p>\n

          The event is directed towards Bachelor students that are interested in metals and the mining industry. Students, alumni and professors will attend. There will also be food and beverages at the event.<\/p>\n

            CHEM-E2225 Wood Material Science (5 cr) course is organized for the first time in the online format in spring 2023. You may follow the course independently whenever it is suitable for you during III period 10.1. \u2013 14.2.2023. The course includes short videos, texts, exercises and online exams. The course starts with an\u00a0online introduction 10.1.2023 at 10:15<\/strong>. Register to the course by 16.1.2023<\/p>\n

            The classic and legendary FBI-day (Forest Based Industries) is back!<\/p>\n

             <\/p>\n

            Current and future professionals of bioforest industry get together in Oulu on 25.1.2023. We will leave to Oulu on Tue 24.1. and head back home on Thu 26.1., so the trip is two nights long this year!<\/p>\n

             <\/p>\n

            The FBI-day starts off in Radisson Blu Hotel Oulu with a seminar with the topic of diversification of the forest-based industry or \u201cGrowing new branches in forest-based industry\u201d. In the afternoon it is time for the versatile and comprehensive business exhibitions, in which the business presenters introduce their firms. Also, the young bioforest industry enthusiasts are able to check out the job market for the next summer and ask questions from the presenters. After the formal part it is time for the social evening and the evening entertainment. So, come have a productive and networking -filled working life day!<\/p>\n

            The event is free for students and includes transportation and overnight stays. The event will be held in English. The event is open to all CHEM students.<\/p>\n
