        The board of PT decided in the meeting held on 10.1. that the association will follow all regulations and recommendations of the Regional State Administrative Agency, Finnish institute for health and welfare, university and Student Union in its events.<\/p>\n

        Pack your indoor shoes and head to the ball sports hall of Otahalli every thursday at 21-22! There you will be able to play floorball or basketball with TiK and other PT members. On the first time we’ll be playing basketball. After that, the sport will change every week between floorball and basketball.<\/p>\n

        PT now has a separate Telegram channel for official announcements and news about the association \u2013 PT Info Channel! All the most important announcements and news about the association will be posted in the channel from now on, for example about events and the summary of the weekly newsletter sent by email.         Summer is approaching and for the third year in a row, it\u2019s time to get back into healthy habits! Kes\u00e4kuntoon is a phrase loosely translated to \u201csummer fitness\u201d, used in the context of getting fit for summer. The four weeks long event is a type of friendly competition between different teams and also between the guilds TiK vs. PT!<\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        In the competition as you complete small life and health improving tasks you’ll collect points for your own team and guild. At the end of the campaign the best teams and the better guild will be rewarded!<\/p>\n

        \u201cBut!\u201d I hear you saying, \u201cI\u2019m not athletic? What do you mean \u2018summer fitness\u2019? I can\u2019t even walk up the stairs without getting out of breath!\u201d Well, fear not! For as many points as can be gathered through sports and fitness, you can gather just as many from things that have nothing to do with moving your body, like sleeping or meditating!<\/p>\n

        The examweek badminton on Thursday 14.4. At 14-16! 4 badminton courts in Block B, Unisport Otaniemi, are reserved for PT and participation costs nothing, just say to the Unisports customer service that you are coming to PT’s badminton shift in block B.<\/p>\n

         <\/p>\n

        It is possible to rent a badminton racket from the Unisport lobby for 2\u20ac per shift. Shuttlecocks are available for purchase for the price of 3\u20ac\/piece. The amount of rentable rackets is limited so it is encouraged to bring your own. Playing is only allowed with indoor shoes. Welcome!<\/p>\n

        Wappu is approaching fast and so is the AK x PT Wappusp\u00e5ra! Hop on to the tram and speed to the Wappu spirit, accompanied by an awesome atmosphere, an entertaining program and new friends. There will be for example Sp\u00e5rabingo and karaoke, not to mention thirst quencing yoga!<\/p>\n

        The Wapputram will leave from Mikonkatu stop on Wednesday 20 April at 5 pm and you can also jump aboard from the same stop at 6 pm. The ride ends at Mikonkatu at 7 pm. Bring your own refreshments!<\/p>\n

          Chemistry Guild\u2019s annual Home Brewing Competition is here again! The competition is held 19.4. in Otakaari 20 downstairs starting at 18.00. The sign-up is now open to contestants on Chemistry Guild\u2019s website<\/a>. If you haven\u2019t started preparations yet, now it\u2019s time!<\/p>\n

          As a reminder, there are no limitations on the quality, style, or composition of your product as long as you are willing to drink it yourself and have done something for it (minimum: addition of one (1) raisin). It is also possible to participate with multiple different products.<\/p>\n

          <\/a>15.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Invitation to a student workshop 25.4.<\/h2>\n

          Want to contribute to digital solutions in education and share your experiences of remote learning? And do you have ideas for course development?<\/p>\n

          What: We welcome you to a workshop for CHEM students to brainstorm and build proposals to improve digital teaching and learning. The workshop will focus particularly on interaction and good practices in remote learning.<\/p>\n

          For who: The workshop is aimed at students at the School of Chemical Engineering (bachelor, master, doctoral and exchange students). The number of participants is 20. The workshop will be bilingual in Finnish and English.<\/p>\n

          Why: The workshop is part of the CHEM DigiPeC-project that focuses on teachers\u2019 digital pedagogical competence. One of the aims of the project is to strengthen student-centeredness in teaching and learning. The ideas and outputs of the workshop will be presented to CHEM teaching staff and will be used in the development of teaching.<\/p>\n
