We receive new students starting their studies in the Chemical Engineering bachelor\u2019s programmes in Aalto University and our purpose is to bring together students of the School of Chemical Engineering.<\/p>\n<h1>AIM AND ACTIVITIES<\/h1>\n<p>We are a non-profit guild operating under the Aalto University Student Union (AYY). Any member of AYY can become a member. The Association of Process Engineering Students takes care of its members\u2019 wellbeing by organizing a variety of events such as exercise and cultural events as well as different kinds of recreational events. Events are also organized together with other associations and guilds. Our aim is to uphold old traditions and create new ones. We work together with the Student Union, guilds, the School of Chemical Engineering as well as companies and associations within the industry.<\/p>\n<h1>BUSINESS CO-OPERATION<\/h1>\n<p>Process engineering students get employed for the diverse needs of industry from chemical engineering to materials engineering. There are opportunities from consulting to production as well as from research to product development. Process engineering students often start their careers from the grass roots to advance to responsible positions already during their studies. Therefore, several companies have collaborated with the Association of Process Engineering Students to improve their own visibility and to learn what the students can do.<\/p>\n<p>Some forms of collaboration that have taken place are for example supporting our annual ball, overalls\u2019 sponsorship, and company events. Every year our over 200 new students get the overalls, so visibility is guaranteed! Overalls visibility can be seen as a multiyear job advertisement because many of our students apply for summer jobs at the companies on the overalls. The annual balls have been the finest celebration of the year, that many of our students, our alumni and staff of the School of Chemical Engineering have participated in. Many companies of our field have been making the celebration possible and got a lot of visibility among experts of chemical engineering. Additionally, it has been possible to get business visibility on our website and our guild room, pHuone, where we are looking for even more new partners! Usually, collaboration is a combination of the approaches, which guarantees better visibility for the company in the student community. We also<br \/>always want to deliver the job advertisements and intern searches of the companies that have supported us, so that our students get the recruitment messages of familiar companies as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Co-operation is always individualised, and we will work together to find a form of collaboration that gives the most both to the partner company and to the Association of Process Engineering Students. Visibility on overalls guarantees certain multi-year visibility for the company right from the student\u2019s first study year! Yhdistys ottaa vastaan kemian tekniikan koulutusohjelmassa aloittavat opiskelijat ja teht\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4mme on tuoda yhteen korkeakoulun opiskelijoita.<\/p><h1 style=\"text-align: left;\">TAVOITE JA TOIMINTA<\/h1><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Olemme voittoa tavoittelematon Aalto-yliopiston ylioppilaskunnan erityisasemayhdistys. J\u00e4seneksi voi liitty\u00e4 kuka tahansa AYY:n j\u00e4sen. Prosessiteekkarit edist\u00e4\u00e4 j\u00e4senist\u00f6ns\u00e4 hyvinvointia ja virkist\u00e4ytymist\u00e4 j\u00e4rjest\u00e4m\u00e4ll\u00e4 monipuolisesti tapahtumia, kuten liikunta- ja kulttuuritapahtumia sek\u00e4 erilaisia illanviettoja. Tapahtumia toteutetaan my\u00f6s yhdess\u00e4 muiden yhdistysten ja kiltojen kanssa. Toiminnassamme tahdomme edist\u00e4\u00e4 vanhoja sek\u00e4 luoda uusia perinteit\u00e4. Teemme yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 ylioppilaskunnan, kiltojen, korkeakoulun sek\u00e4 alan yritysten ja yhdistysten kanssa.<\/p><h1 style=\"text-align: left;\">YRITYSYHTEISTY\u00d6<\/h1><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prosessiteekkarit ty\u00f6llistyv\u00e4t teollisuuden moninaisiin tarpeisiin aina kemiantekniikasta materiaalitekniikkaan. V\u00e4liin mahtuu mahdollisuuksia niin konsultoinnista tuotantoon kuin tutkimuksesta tuotekehitykseen.\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Prosessiteekkarit aloittavat usein uransa ruohonjuuritasolta edet\u00e4kseen vastuullisiin teht\u00e4viin jo opiskelujen aikana, joten useat yritykset ovat tehneet yhteisty\u00f6t\u00e4 Prosessiteekkarien kanssa parantaakseen omaa n\u00e4kyvyytt\u00e4\u00e4n ja my\u00f6s oppiakseen, mit\u00e4 kaikkea opiskelijat osaavatkaan.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Toteutuneita yhteisty\u00f6muotoja on ollut esimerkiksi vuosijuhliemme tukeminen, haalarisponsorointi ja yritystapahtumat. Haalarit ovat saaneet joka vuosi melkein 200 uutta opiskelijaamme, joten n\u00e4kyvyys on ollut taattua! Haalarin\u00e4kyvyytt\u00e4 voidaankin pit\u00e4\u00e4 monivuotisena kes\u00e4ty\u00f6paikkailmoituksena, sill\u00e4 useat opiskelijamme hakevatkin juuri esimerkiksi kes\u00e4t\u00f6ihin haalareissa olleisiin yrityksiin. Vuosijuhlat ovat olleet vuoden hienoin juhla, johon on osallistunut suuri joukko opiskelijoitamme, alumnejamme eli entisi\u00e4 opiskelijoitamme sek\u00e4 korkeakoulumme henkil\u00f6kuntaa. Juhlissa onkin ollut paljon alamme yrityksi\u00e4, jotka ovat tehneet juhlat mahdollisiksi ja saaneet n\u00e4kyvyytt\u00e4 kemiantekniikan alan osaajien keskuudessa. Lis\u00e4ksi yritysn\u00e4kyvyytt\u00e4 on ollut mahdollista saada verkkosivuillamme, sek\u00e4 yhdistyshuoneellamme eli pHuoneella, jonne etsit\u00e4\u00e4nkin yh\u00e4 uusia yhteisty\u00f6kumppaneita! Useimmiten yhteisty\u00f6 muodostuu edell\u00e4 mainittujen yhdistelm\u00e4st\u00e4, jolloin taataan parempi n\u00e4kyvyys yritykselle opiskelijayhteis\u00f6ss\u00e4.
